When the print window opens, choose Letter paper, set margins to None and scale to 100 percent (or Default), and turn off headers and footers, then cut along the rows and columns. Printing in color on cardstock works well.

Using tickets well

A ticket works best when it names the PBIS expectation and exactly what the student did: “Thank you for showing Respect by helping your table clean up.” Aim to give at least five positive acknowledgments for every correction (Center on PBIS), and use the “From” line so students know who noticed.
